In 2011, Season Four of ’The Singer Songwriter Series’ tracked 16 musical artists as they competed for a $50,000 recording deal covering the marketing, management and development of their own music video.
WHO WE ARE
The Singer Songwriter Series is conceived and presented by REM Records, a company led and backed by audio engineer and promoter Danny Colangelo to promote and support the emergence of original live music.
WHAT WE DO
‘The Singer Songwriter Series’ showcases unsigned and emerging artists performing their own music in front of a live studio audience. Four seasons of Singer Songwriter Series have taken place. The last in 2011 was co-produced by REM Records, Television Sydney (TVS) and the University of Western Sydney’s School of Communication Arts.
